So, on top of the good news about the house this week. I found out I got a promotion at work. I will be the new Application Expert for Document Imaging. I am very excited to get to work with some really good people, and with such a fun product. Here is the letter announcing my job promotion.
So, about 1:45pm today, I get a frantic call from Kris…“
That’s right, she decided 3 hours before closing, that she wasn’t going to get enough out of the deal, and wants to back out… mind you, 2+ weeks ago we signed a contract with all kinds of loop holes to back out within the first 5 days after signing.
But, for some reason, I wasn’t really concerned. I was a bit amused by how weird this whole experience has been, but at no point and time was I nervous. I felt confident, that no matter what happened, it would work its way out. I had faith, faith that everything would work out, and that no matter what it would all be ok.
Sure enough… she showed up… not only that, Turns out the Bank made a clerical error… and shorted the loan by $.60 cents, the exact amount of change I had in my pocket at the time.
Coincidence… maybe… I’d like to think that it was always meant to be.

So, not all of you are aware, but we now have 17 nieces and nephews! The two most recent additions are the twins, Trenton Thomas and Emma Nicole. We just saw them today and they are doing so well. It’s crazy how quickly they are growing; today I got to witness them interacting with each other and hear Emma laugh. Joe even held both of them, which is a major accomplishment since we all know he has a fear of wobbly baby heads!
So, once again, while playing around with the site, I lost all the old posts… Someday I’ll get the hang of this. We’re closing on the House on March 29th, this Thursday at 4pm. We’re both very excited; we will finally own our own place. We’re busy reading decorating books. Unfortunately we haven’t started packing, but we do have a pile of empty boxes to the ceiling in the spare room (no joke, it’s actually ceiling high.)Wish us luck, no more fun, just work preparing for the big moving day.
