Growing Up Mudra

I can’t believe that it is March 28th already!! And today is my brother Mike’s birthday!! Mike and his wife Kristy live in Indiana and have an almost one year old, Addison, who you may have seen in some of my previous posts. We always thought Mike would be a great Dad, but now that we’ve had the last year to see him with Addison, it just proves that we were right! From what many say, Mike is my twin; they used to say “Just take each of your hair off and put it on the other and you’d still look alike.” Take a look at the following pics and see what you think

It was wonderful being home for Easter and seeing all of our family. My only complaint is that it goes by too quickly. As for my family, we were only missing Matt and Kris’ family as they were having spring break in Florida. And what a coincidence, the Mudra family was missing Brady this year because he too was on spring break in Florida! Hmmm, maybe we should all just go to Florida next year…then it would be warm for the Easter egg hunt!

We missed the Easter egg hunt at the Speelman’s this year, but we here it was a blast!

Yes, that is right, I am posting twice today. I decided since we will be out of town for Easter, we would post one for tomorrow as well. I have been pretty tired lately and feel horrible that I didn’t take out any of my Easter decorations this year! To my surprise the other day, my wonderful husband came home with a kit to color Easter eggs! What a sweetie! Among others, we made an egg for Joe, Kris, Loki and even two eggs for the baby…one with the initials for baby if it is a boy and another with initials if it is a girl (that was Dad’s idea)!

The people at work through me a wonderful baby shower the other day. They went a little overboard on the gift giving but they say I will need it all. Thanks to Stephanie who allowed us to have it at work and gave us some extra time so we could all enjoy the food and presents! You guys are the greatest, a special thanks to those who organized the shower as well!

We went out for St. Patrick’s Day (I wasn’t out too long as I’m a party pooper). We had a great time hanging out with friends. I am now just about 31 weeks along; where has the time gone?? Feels like there is so much to do now and so little time! No matter what, we are looking forward to the baby’s arrival!
