Growing Up Mudra

I decided to take some more pics of my lovely daughter today but she just wasn’t cooperating. I told her that I was documenting her life in photos but she wasn’t having it. So in between screams, this is what I got of her today. If she was a supermodel, she would have been Naomi Campbell…throwing her cell phone at me! I had to get pictures of her in this little summer outfit that our friend Geoff got for her (picked out by his mom). It comes with a hat that is just darling but like I said, she was not happy with it…see the hat picture below for proof! So this is our little one at 4 weeks, enjoy!

Congrats to Melissa Manning and Joe Kline on the birth of their baby boy. Finnegan Padraic Manning was born on May 25th at 11:21 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs 3 oz. He was an early baby like Jillian, since he was due the first week of June. His parents are happy that he is healthy and here!! Melissa has been living in South Bend, Indiana but Joe has been working in Chicago so she has been making weekend trips to Chicago. Turns out, that this past weekend, she went to Chicago because her doctor told her she wasn’t going to go early…and what do you know, she went early! Can you imagine?! I’m very pleased to say that all went well with the delivery and now we have another beautiful baby in the world! Here are some pictures that they have forwarded on to me! Welcome to the world Finn!

On this day, twenty five years ago, Jason Kennersly Mudra was born! I feel very fortunate to have Jason as a brother-in-law! He’s laid back, goofy, and an all around good guy. This is a big year for Jason as he is getting married in September (can’t wait!!). We were able to celebrate his birthday on Memorial Day but none of my pics came out from his cookout/party…bummer! So this is a picture that I had from when we went to Put-in-Bay last summer. Happy Birthday Jason!

Joe’s coworker Adam and his wife Dawn were expecting around the same time as we were with Jillian. On May17th Jaden was finally born! We were able to go visit with their family this past weekend and even got some pics with Jillian and Jaden together, though as you will see, Jillian wasn’t as cooperative as little Jaden! Big brother Evan also helped out by holding baby Jaden for some of his pictures. Welcome Jaden and thanks for allowing us to come visit with you all on Friday!

So time is flying!! Another week has passed and Jillian is now 3 weeks old. She is such a good baby. Yesterday we went to visit my coworkers and she slept almost the whole time while we walked around the office catching up with everyone! It was a big outing for her and she did so well. Aside from her daily routine of sleeping, eating, pooping and peeing, she has been giving us a couple good hours of alert time. She makes little funny faces and has been lifting her head up like a big girl. Yesterday I had her pushing her legs out so stiff that she was actually standing a little! Amazing what a difference one week makes…let’s see what she does by next week!
